No Plans – No Destiny

I don’t have a plan; I don’t know what to do,
Is that so big a crime, that everyone questions you?
Peers comment on my aimless movement,
Friends interrogate about me career involvement,
Elders try and force their decisions on me,
Everyone wants me to carve out one destiny,
But I don’t want to master one art, like everyone does,
I want to learn all, even if I lack required focus,
I am happy this way, not knowing where the road is leading,
Because those who know all, can still land up bleeding,
I don’t want to plan; I don’t want to set a direction,
I don’t want to index my life, referring to each section,
I may be wrong and this might not be the right way to live,
But to question the status quo has now become my motive,
For people who were born first, made their own set of rules,
Centuries have passed and I don’t intend to use the same tools,
I’ll define my own language, my own sense of decorum,
Plans in which might not be the sanctum sanctorum,
More important would be living the moments as they come,
Be happy with what you do because change is always welcome!!
