Once upon a time there lived a cliché

Once upon a time there lived a cliché
Which the actress of my story keeps quoting
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

The girl walked through her life,
Facing the sun and dancing in the hay,
The words which kept her motivated were:
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

She was of this clumsy sort,
Who couldn’t even properly hold a tray,
But she gave a shot, tried everything which came her way, saying:
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

Things didn’t fall in place for her,
She went to the church to pray,
Came back smiling with double faith in her saying,
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

She got herself a coloring box,
All she could find were shades of grey,
She mixed them in various proportions,
To make colors of brightness and gay,
As you all know “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

Once she stepped on something during her play,
Something damp, something muddy, something known as clay,
She moulded it to form beautiful figures, all during her play,
Yes, she remembers, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

She was getting late for her job,
Got stuck in a jam on her highway,
Stepped out to clear the mess, succeeded, shouting
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

During her odyssey of life, there were people who couldn’t stay,
She chose to believe that those near your heart never go away,
By this time we all know, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

There were times when she didn’t had her say,
Times when she paid more than what she should pay,
But she kept moving keeping all negativity at bay,
If you love, if you trust, then all I need to say,
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”
